Real World Performance

It’s all about the Neue Klasse.

Neue Klasse delivers sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology for the 2027 BMW iX3, with highly efficient dual electric motors and cylindrical cell high-voltage batteries boasting 800V technology. The result is a total output for the dual-motor model of 463 hp and 476 lb-ft of torque, meaning you’ll hit top speeds of 130 MPH and whip from 0 to 60 MPH in only 4.7 seconds. And when it comes time to pull off the road for a pit stop, you’ll be thrilled to know that the new iX3 charges from 10 to 80% in only 21 minutes using a DC fast charger.

But that’s not nearly all. Neue Klasse in the iX3 means you’ll benefit from an electric all-wheel-drive configuration with a new Asynchronous Motor (ASM) at the front and an upgraded Electrically Excited Synchronous Motor (EESM) at the rear. This results in a reduced energy loss of approximately 40% when compared to fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology. Off-road enthusiasts will love that an optional trailer hitch is available that boosts maximum towing capacity to 4,400 pounds.

Unsurprisingly, the Ultimate Driving Machine gifts you full control over the driving experience, too.
